A few words on how we protect your personal data
"deZillium" means DEZILLIUM LIMITED.
The legislation on Data Protection (Act 138 of 2001, Act 37 of 2003 and Act 105 of 2012) requires that deZillium takes all necessary measures for the protection of personal data and to respect the private life of it's customers and users.
I. What is considered, according to the legislation, Personal Data
Personal Data is data relating to a living natural person, and whose identity can be found through that data. The present legislation does not protect data relating to legal entities as Personal Data, but deZillium is committed to safeguard and protect them.
II. Personal Data that deZillium uses:
- your name
- your surname
- the company or organisation, if you represent a company or organisation, on behalf of whom you make a purchase
- home address
- telephone number
- fax number
- email address
- VAT number, if applicable
- payment information (card data and information necessary for payment through Paypal or 2CheckOut)
III. deZillium's obligations
deZillium collects and processes Personal Data only for the purpose of providing its services. That includes pricing of its services, technical support and for contacting its customers and/or users in cases of extreme urgency for the protection of deZillium's customers, users and systems.
In the case that deZillium needs to process Personal Data in a way that the customer's consent is required, its customers will be notified and their consent will be required.
In the case that deZillium needs to process Personal Data in a way that the Commissioner of Data Protection's authorisation is required, the authorisation will be requested prior to the processing.
We NEVER use or share our customer's Personal Data in ways that are forbidden by the legislation.
Our services are not available for use by minors, neither do we voluntarily store information or data on minors
IV. deZillium's customer's and user's obligations
deZillium's customers and/or users can access Personal Data that deZillium keeps on them, through our website for managing information and payments. Through our website customers and/or users can view what data deZillium keeps and make changes to them
deZillium's customers and/or users can be informed in writing for the purposes of processing Personal Data that deZillium keeps, in relation to them, by writing to deZillium Limited, Karchidonos 26, 2305, Lakatamia, Cyprus.
deZillium's customers are obliged to ensure the confidentiality of confidential data and/or information assigned to them by deZillium. Usernames, passwords and SSL certificates assigned by deZillium are strictly confidential and deZillium is not responsible in the case of them being lost and/or stolen from the customers and/or users. In the case of them being lost and/or stolen, deZillium's customers and/or users are obliged to inform deZillium as soon as possible.
V. Exceptions based on the legislation
deZillium, according to the legislation, does not need the consent of its customers and/or users for processing Personal Data in these cases:
- Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of deZillium's obligations, as imposed on it by Law or European Union's Regulations
- Processing is necessary for the execution of a contract relating to deZillium's customers
- Processing is necessary for preserving a vital interest of deZillium's customers
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a task of public interest or task that falls in the exercise of public authority.
- Processing is necessary for statistical purposes, as long as no measures are taken relating to a specific person
Automated security systems
deZillium uses certain automated security systems, for the protection of our systems from unauthorized access. This protects us, our customers and our users.
These systems collect information on unsuccessful access attempts, unusual access, for actions that raise reasonable suspicions that they are malicious and actions aimed at hurting the performance of our systems.
After collection, these systems proceed to take automated decisions to interrupt the malicious access to our systems, notify our system administrators and provide samples of the malicious actions for Legal use in the case that the seriousness of the actions imposes their Criminal Prosecution.
Information that may be requested when providing technical support
In the case that you face a technical problem and our help is required, you may be requested to provide certain information relating to solving the problem. deZillium will NOT ask you to provide passwords you use for access to our Personal Data management systems.
In the case that we request passwords for a specially designed system or project you use, we will assure our identity with any means we deem necessary, eg. telephone.NEVER share your passwords with third parties. We recommend the immediate change of the passwords used in your project, after we finish providing technical support. We remind you we are not referring to the passwords used for access to deZillium's systems.
Personal Data management website
The security of your Personal Data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards, for the protection of Personal Data provided to us, during transfer as well as storing them. Your Personal Data is secured during transfer from and to our servers, using cryptography (SSL). Our website uses an SSL certificate verified by Comodo CA Limited.
Upon using our services, you may be requested to participate in periodic internal surveys conducted by deZillium to improve our services and products. These surveys are strictly voluntary. The data collected through these surveys will only be used to improve our products and services and will NEVER be sold to any third parties.
VII. Content hosted on deZillium's systems
When we receive electronic mail, we will use electronic mail return addresses to answer you. These addresses will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared with third parties.
You will receive an electronic mail for confirmation when ordering services or products from us and/or third parties providing services on our behalf.
deZillium considers electronic mail transmitted via our services to be the private correspondence between the sender and recipient. We will not monitor, edit or disclose the contents of a user's private communications, except as required by legislation.
By using the service you agree that technical processing of electronic mail communications is and may be required to send and receive messages, to conform to the technical requirements of connecting networks, to conform to the limitations of the service, or to conform to other, similar technical requirements. By using the service you acknowledge and agree that deZillium do not endorse the content of any user communications and are not responsible or liable for any unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy invading, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortuous, or otherwise objectionable content, or content that infringes or may infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another.
